'Tis the season for another Minted.com challenge. This time - save-the-dates! Here are a couple of submissions I've been working on this week. I'll let you know when it's voting time!
We took a quick trip to visit friends in southern California last weekend, and included a one-day stop in San Diego, where I had never been. We drove to the Mexican border just to say I'd been there (my husband lived there for a few years, so it was really just to indulge me) ate and watched the World Cup at El Indio, the MOST delicious Mexican restaurant (thank you Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives), walked from our hotel to Seaport Village and along the Embarcadero, and enjoyed the gentle sunshine and sea breeze.
Now that we're back, I can't help but post this brand-spanking-new nautical wedding invitation to celebrate all things seafaring and sunny. With a monogram crest in pale pink and a border of navy-and-white stripes, it's the perfect way to introduce your beautiful wedding by the sea (with matching monogram labels to boot!)
Here's a sneak peak at an inspiration shoot I got to be a part of a few weeks ago with an incredibly talented group of vendors, coordinated by the amazing Rachael of Rachael Ellen Events! Stay tuned for more to come...
It's spring! Time for more pink! Here's a recent invitation I did for an LDS (Mormon) sealing ceremony in the San Diego temple in shades of pink, white, and gray (and...yikes. Please excuse the bubblegum shade that the pink is showing in web format. I promise it looks much better (more peachy) in printed form).
Congratulations to this great family, and happy Thursday!
Spring is such a thrilling time, don't you think? I was visiting in Portland, Oregon last week, and the cherry and plum blossoms were out in full force - gorgeous! Snowy pinks and whites and purples everywhere. To celebrate warmer days and growing things, here's a sweet pink cherry blossom and watercolor-inspired wedding invitation.
I've recently had the chance to work with the fabulous Shannon of Shannon Elizabeth Photography. Yesterday she staged a mid-century modern inspiration shoot for which I got to provide the invitations (so lucky!) Here's a sneak peek from Shannon's Facebook page, with more to come!
A simple star-themed baby announcement in muted tones of gray, white, and taupe. (PS. That hat? Totally makes me want to learn how to knit. I think it's time to call up my grandma and schedule some lessons!)
