It's that time again! Time to stuff mailboxes around the world with beautiful Christmas cards! Minted picked up three of my holiday designs this year, so feel free to check them out, and happy holidays!
Last week, the amazingly talented LeeYen of Loblee Photography came to do a fun "studio and process" shoot. It was a blast! Here's a peek into my design process and the Little Words Design digs from that shoot :)
How can you not fall in love with a plaid wedding? Beth and David's December nuptials were filled with the bright red Royal Stewart tartan plaid, twinkling lights, and gorgeous evergreen, berry, and pinecone florals. They were a joy to work with - and here's to happily ever after!
Working with Lexi and Ben was purely joyful. Talk about kind, lovely, people in every way possible. As we planned, designed, and printed their wedding invitations, programs, and thank you place cards, it was clear that these two are filled with the sweetest kind of love that will keep them united through everything that life brings in their marriage.
Their gorgeous, rustic, November wedding set the scene perfectly for the beautiful years ahead! I love the natural green and white florals, the rock and wood textures that they embraced, and the navy and white color scheme. So beautiful! Congratulations, Lexi and Ben!
Also, how cool is this? One of Lexi and Ben's wedding gifts was an art piece created around their wedding invitation. The artist is from the town where Lexi's sister-in-law grew up, and it has become a traditional wedding gift for those from the community. So fun!
I recently did the branding for a private vacation residence in the Rocky Mountains, and ordered a few leather pieces stamped with the house logo. Stephanie Brown of A Cheery Blossom created these gorgeous handmade luggage tags and guest book, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the result!
Late in the evening on December 4, 2010, my now-husband pulled into the snowy parking lot of our special spot in Charlottesville, Virginia, stepped out to open my door, and knelt in the snow with a diamond ring in his hand. On that wintry evening 5 years ago today, I said yes to what has been the best and most significant decision of my life!
To celebrate, and because it's the heart of engagement season and many of you are saying "yes" this month as well, all Save the Dates are 25% off until December 14! This includes custom orders, so if what you want isn't in the catalog, send me an email and we'll create your perfect save the date. Happy engaging!
Earlier in the year, I had the privilege of creating invitations for Stacey & Matt's September wedding on the pier in Monterey, California. The decor was inspired by lace and gold, with soft cream and blush pink as accents. Stacey & Matt's invitations were printed in gold foil on ivory metallic paper, and cut into a curved silhouette. What a gorgeous couple, and a gorgeous day!

Everybody loves tartan, and if you have Scottish heritage it's fun to include your clan's tartan in your wedding day. Here are a few old favorites: Campbell, Mackenzie Modern Dress, MacDonald and Gordon Dress.
